Coach Howard Randle -
Elite White

A
graduate of Texas Southern in Houston, Texas and a product of the
inner city, Howard Randle founded the Houston Elite organization in
1995. It started out as a girls track club and has now emerged as
one of the premier girls AAU programs in the country! Since his
first season in 1996, Coach Howard has coached 71 players that gone
on to play college basketball. Howard coaches middle school boys
basketball at the Rice School in Houston, Texas. In his prep days,
Howard played baseball, basketball, and football at Bellaire High
School. He earned a baseball scholarship to the University of
Oklahoma. Coach Howard is on the Gulf Association AAU Rules
Committee and he is also the founder of the Houston Area Girls
Basketball Report. |

Coach Temeckia Brown - Elite

Coach Brown is a graduate of Kempner High School in
Sugarland, Tex., where she was a First Team All-District
performer. She was also named Kempner High School most
athletic female. Coach Brown played collegiately at Blinn
Junior College and the University of Texas-Arlington. She
was an honorable mention All-American at Blinn and a
two-time 1st team All-Conference selection. She left the
school ranked 15th in career scoring and 17th in rebounding.
While at UTA, Coach Brown was a part of the first-ever Lady
Maverick's team to make an appearance in the Southland
Conference Championship game.
Coach Brown spent a few seasons as an assistant varsity
coach at Grapevine Faith Christian High School. She then
joined the Wayland Baptist University Flying Queens staff
for the 2008-09 season.

Coach Bianca Smith-

Bianca Smith played basketball
for the University of
Colorado. The summer before her senior year she played with
the USA Athletes International, an organization that gives
amateur athletes the opportunity to participate on an
international stage. Smith holds the University of Colorado
record for the most 3-point attempts (698) and most
3-pointers made (256). She also set the single season record
for 3-pointers (81) made. She ranked second in the Big 12 in
3-point accuracy at 38.2%. She originally signed with the
University of Tulsa, but decided to come to Colorado. She
earned Big 12 Conference Player of the Week, CU's Most
Improved Player Award and Big 12 Six Man Award. Smith is a
2005 graduate of Bellaire High School where she was a
four-year letter winner. She earned District MVP, first
team all-district, and Houston Girls Athlete of the week
honors. She won an AAU national championship with Houston
Elite. Smith earned a double major in marketing and
sociology. Smith is preparing to go overseas to play
professionally.

Coach Dametria Buchanan-

Damitria is a 2006 graduate of Jones High School. She was ranked
No. 63 nationally by the All-Star Girls Basketball Report and
rated the No. 12 player in the state of Texas by the Texas Girls
Basketball Report. She was a McDonald's High School
All-American nominee and lettered all four years in basketball.
Her high school honors included, District 21-4A Most Valuable
Player, two-time First Team All-District selection, Preseason
All-Greater Houston, First Team All-State, and First Team
All-Region pick by the TABC. Damitria graduated second in her
senior class with a 4.4 grade-point average and was the class
salutatorian. During her stint at Texas A&M, Damitria earned
Academic All-Big 12 First Team and was voted Team Captain her
senior year. Damitria Ranks 11th
All-Time in blocks. Damitria is currently the 7th
Grade Girls Basketball coach at College Station Middle School.
