Johnetta Hayes

Johnetta Hayes is in her first season as an assistant
coach at North Texas. Hayes was previously the head coach at Wiley
College where she led Wiley to a 29-7 record in 2007-08 and earned the
school its first ever national ranking. Wiley finished the season ranked
No. 22 in the country. Hayes was named the 2007-08 Red River Athletic
Conference Coach of the Year. Hayes was a prolific defensive player and
four-year letterwinner at Rice, Hayes was a 2003 first-team all-WAC
selection after leading her team in scoring, rebounds, blocked shots and
field goal percentage. Hayes was 16th in the nation that
season in blocked shots per game averaging 2.46 per contest. She is
still second all-time in blocked shots at Rice with 142 and sixth in
school history with a rebounding average of 8.1 boards per game
throughout her career.

Tabbatha Callaway
As a Senior guard, was named to the American Southwest
Conference All-West Division Honorable Mention Team.

Class of 2000
Kiesha Beard

Named to MEAC All-Tournament team in 2004 and holds the
Hampton University record for rebounds in a game (22). She played
basketball overseas in Finland.

Keila Beachem

The niece of Cynthia Cooper. Beachem graduated from Cal
Poly. Beachem played with the Chicago Blaze of the NWBL where she
averaged 10.8 ppg along with 6.1 rpg. The 6’ 2” forward was chosen All-CCAA
(California Collegiate Athletic Association) First Team in 2004. Keila
played for the New York Libery and overseas in Spain.

Nicole Braithwaite
Was named MEAC Tournament MVP in 2004. Led Hampton in
Rebounding for 3 straight seasons at 5'11. She also holds Hampton
record for most field goals in a game. She was All-conference in 2003
and 2004. Braithwaite led the team in Blocked shots twice in her
career. Three straigth seasons she led the team in field goal
percentage, she led the team in scoring one season, and she lead the
team in Free throw percentage for 2 seasons. She ranks 6th on Hampton's
carreer scoring lists with 1,373 points. She holds Hampton single game
records for points (36), field goals made (14), and free throws made
(15). She also holds the Hampton career record for most Free Throws
Made (479) and Attempted (670). Her career Free Throw percentage
is 71.5% which ranks her 5th on Hampton's career list.

Alicia Cash
Alicia Cash spent 2 seasons as Director of Basketball Operations for
women’s basketball after a successful four year career with the UALR
Lady Trojans. Cash helped lead UALR to their first ever post season
victory. She was the first player in program history to earn All-Sun
Belt Conference honors in 2003-04. She ended her playing career by
becoming the schools all-time leading scorer with 1,282 career points
and second in rebounding with 682 boards. She is ranked second in
single season points with 451 averaging 16.7 per contest and holds the
single season mark for field goals made in a season with 183. Cash
earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science in May of 2005
and her Masters degree in Adult Education in May of 2006.

Was a 4-time All-Southland Conference selection
...Team's top
scorer and rebounder ... Ended her collegiate career as the 22nd
Ladyjack to score 1,000 points in her career. Had a career-high 30
points and 17 rebounds against Jackson State ... Was the 2003 Southland
Conference Freshman of the Year ...Participated in the 2006 WNBA
Draft....Was selected to play overseas in 2006.

Audrea Samuel
Was named
All-Southland Conference
Honorable Mention as a sophmore ... Led the team with 304 points for
that season ...scored a career-high 26 points against UT-San Antonio
(2/13) ...Set career-high with 11 boards at Southwest Texas (1/11)...At
Beaumont Ozen Named 'Most Athletic Female' at OHS ... Three-time First
Team All-District 19-4A and TABC All-Region III as a junior ...Four-time
District 19-4A triple jump champion ... Four-time region III qualifier
in triple jump, long jump and 200m dash ... State qualifier in the long
jump as a senior...selected to play overseas in 2006

Mirenda Swearingin
Named 2005-06 WAC Player of the Year, becoming the
first Bulldog to earn the honor since 1986-87 ... first team All-WAC
selection ... tabbed a Preseason All-WAC selection by the coaches
... she finished with 13 points and a career-best 13 rebounds and nine
assists in season debut vs. Arizona on Dec. 15, 2005...dished out
career-high 11 assists in a WNIT victory vs. UNLV on Mar. 19,
2006...(2004-05) Named to WAC All-Tournament team after she averaged 21
ppg and pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out 10 assists during
conference tournament play ... scored a career-best 23 points vs. UCLA
on Dec. 11, 2004...New Mexico Junior College: Helped guide NMJC to a
50-11 record over two seasons...two-time All-WJCAC first team
honoree...two-time All-Region selection during her time at New Mexico
Junior College. Jones High School:... all-state selection.

Callye Williams

Callye Williams is a part of the James Madison Strength and Conditioning
staff as the senior assistant strength and conditioning coach. Callye
spent six years at Mississippi State University where she competed as an
athlete and served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning
coach. Callye was a four year starter at second base for the Bulldogs
softball team...garnered Academic-All American Honors.. earned a spot on
the Southeastern Conference Honor Roll multiple times...served on the
Conference Good Works Team for her service within the
community...graduated cum laude with a degree in communication during
the spring of 2006...When her playing career ended, Williams earned the
McWhorter Post-Graduate Athletic-Academics Scholarship Award...awarded
to the top female and male athletes at each Southeastern Conference
institution who demonstrate outstanding qualities in the competitive
arena and in the classroom...She earned her master’s in business
administration..Prepped at James E. Taylor
High School in Katy Texas. Earned all-district honors and named to the
All Greater Houston Team. Finished 5A state runner-up two out of the
four years and garnered All-state tournament team and second team
all-state honors.

Daniel

MaHogany Daniel graduated with honors and received an
invitation to the Permanent Honor Roll at Mary Carroll High School in
Corpus Christi, TX...Named first team All-Region and
second team All-State by the Texas Association of Basketball
Coaches...Named All-Metro Player of the Year and All-South Texas Player
of the Year.. MaHogany played at the University of Texas-Pan
American. She is second in school history in games played (110), third
in free throws attempted (273), second in rebounds (630), fourth in
steals (152), and first in blocked shots (133) She recorded her best
all-around season as a junior as she established career-highs in 15
statistical categories en route to earning honorable mention
All-Independent honors for the first time in her career... ranked fifth
in rebounding and ninth in steals among all NCAA Division I Independent
players... had a career-high with 14 rebounds against Houston...Played a
career-high 39 minutes against North Texas...earned Bronco Pride 3.0
Club honors during the fall semester of her junior year. MaHogany now
teaches 7th grade Math in Alice ISD.

Krystal Frazier

2003 graduate of North Shore High School...A four-year
starter and letterwinner... Named to the all-district first team all
four years... Honored in 2003 as a member of the all-greater Houston
preseason basketball team and a McDonald's all-America nominee...
Competed in the 2003 McDonald's greater-Houston all-star game... Was a
2003 greater-Houston scholar athlete...Also a member of North Shore's
cheerleading squad, serving as head cheerleader in 2000-01 and helping
the squad earn bids to the National Cheerleaders Association national
competition three consecutive years... Named an NCA all-America all four
years... Graduated cum laude with a 3.97 grade point average and was a
member of the National Honor Society...At Rice University...Selected
to all-Conference USA third team her junior season...Had her career-high
of 25 points vs. Southern Miss...Named to the WAC all-defensive team her
sophmore season...Earned WAC all-tournament recognition as a sophmore...

Atunrase attended

sophomore and junior years...As a senior, she won was named MVP and

candidate...She also guided the team to their first-ever regular season
conference championship...Atunrase had to get surgery in October 2007 to
correct a non-healing stress fracture, causing her to miss the first
nine games..However she still managed to receive the Big 12
Sixth Man
Award her senior season...In the

Women's Division I Basketball Tournament,
she helped guide Texas A&M to their first Elite Eight appearance in
program history...She became the Aggies' all-time leading shot blocker
with her 175 blocks...In the
2008 WNBA Draft,
Atunrase was picked by the
Atlanta Dream
at No. 24...Immediately following the draft, she was traded to the
San Antonio
Silver Stars...Atunrase
became the only rookie or free agent to become a part of the Star's team
roster.

win a National Championship in 2004...During her freshman season, she

Alaina Lee

Alaina Lee graduated 76th from Madison High School
where she was a 4-year starter...helped Madison to a combined 119-19
(.862) record over those four seasons, with district titles in each
season...Named all-state first team her senior season...also named
all-region and all-District 18-5A MVP...a member of the Texas Coaches
Association All-Star Team...a Greater Houston All-Star...a two-time
nominee for Houston Chronicle Athlete of the Week...attended the
prestigious Adidas Top 10 camp in Atlanta...also was a member of the
volleyball team as setter, earning all-district first-team honors in
2001 and 2002 and all-district second-team honors in 2000...a Texas
Scholar and member of the honor roll...She majored in physical education
at Murray State University in Kentucky...She played a career best 48
minutes at Southeast Missouri State her junior season...handed out a
career-high six assists against Southern Illinois her sophomore
season...scored a season-high 23 points in the final game of the season,
at Eastern Kentucky...She helped lead Murray State to the programs first
ever conference championship and NCAA tournament as a senior...Lee
played in 109 games at Murray State ranking her 8th All-Time...She had a
career best 28 points against Tennessee State her senior season...Alaina
has come back to be an Asstant Coach with Houston Elite...will be the
assitant coach at Blinn Junior College in Brenham, TX.
