Houston Elite White entered the Cy-Fair Invitational to prepare for their trip to North Carolina next week. With players missing, Elite didn’t have that continuity it had at the start of the season. Ryan Bradley has missed four games and Annette Davis was dealing with an ankle injury. Elite just couldn’t find a rhythm all weekend. “This is the wrong time to fall into a slump” quoted Coach Howard. In spite of playing uninspired basketball, Elite managed to win the Consolation side of the bracket. Next stop is the Deep South Classic.
