·
Each coach is restricted to a
coach's box, which begins at the baseline and extends 28 feet toward
center court.
·
All bench personnel except the head
coach must remain seated on the bench while the clock is running and
the ball is live, except to react spontaneously to an outstanding
play, immediately sitting down thereafter. A head coach may leave
his/her place on the bench, but must stay within the coaching box.
·
No one should be on the playing
floor at any time other than the players, coaches or officials.
Only the players from the game currently in progress are allowed on
the floor. No shooting during time-outs or in between quarters or
halves. Teams playing the next game may only warm-up after the
current game is completed.
·
No substitutions will be made after
the first horn of the time-out, before the first shot of a two-shot
foul or the first two shots of a three-shot foul.
·
The official scorer will record:
1.
Field goals made
2.
Free throws attempted and made
3.
A running summary of points
scored
4.
Personal and total team fouls,
with official notification at 5 individual and 7 and 10 team fouls
per game and half respectively
5.
Technical fouls on each player,
with official notification when an individual reaches two for
unsportsmanlike conduct
6.
Coaches technical and spectator
ejections
7.
All time-outs, with coaches
notification, through an official, when a team has taken all of its
allotted time-outs
8.
Alternating possessions for
held balls
·
At the end of each half, the
referee shall check and approve the score. The referee’s score
approval at the end of the game terminates the official's
jurisdiction upon leaving the court.
·
Coaches, please prepare player
rosters as indicated by the tournament flyer by entering the
player’s name/number in ascending order, as these rosters will be
utilized for the official scorebook management and will facilitate
starting all games promptly.
